 The Board of Education has authorized the Boosters to raise funds for the construction of new athletic facilities for football, soccer, and tennis. The plans include new bleachers, press boxes and field turf for the athletic field, five new tennis courts, and a new soccer fields.
The current bleachers and press box were installed in 1965. The stadium currently seats 3,200. The plan is to install a new 5,000 seat aluminum structure with new press boxes. There will be a 12’x60’ home side press box with 150 seats and a 8’x12’ visitor’s press box. The new structure will last longer and require less maintenance cost for the district. It also will provide an adequate stadium for our community for many years.
Upgrading the soccer practice fields means that all Cloverleaf Soccer will be here at our campus. No student travel to off-site practice facilities will be required.
The current tennis courts are crumbling and not adequate to hold conference matches. Construction of new courts will make them safer, in compliance, and will allow for the formation of a Cloverleaf Rec Tennis League.
Currently, we hold 64 events on our stadium field. The field conditions hinder post season soccer, football, and band performances. By installing Field Turf we will have an additional practice field, can generate rental revenue and support Cloverleaf Youth Football, Cloverleaf Youth Soccer, and band performances.
